Gold Transactions
GoldVal.com has compiled a substantial list of transactions which have taken place in recent years within the global gold mining industry. To date a list of over 250 transactions has been compiled.  The number of transactions in the GoldVal.com database is expected to grow with further research – and will also be updated as new transactions take place.

These transactions vary from simple deals, where a company may purchase for cash a specific mining operation or project, to more complex arrangements where a company may purchase multiple operations or takeover another gold company - and where the consideration may involve the issue of shares of the purchaser. The value of the transactions varies from a few million dollars (US) to several billion dollars.

It is believed that further evaluation of these transactions will, in many cases, provide sufficient detail to provide transaction value precedents  which could be used as a benchmark for other possible transactions and also to provide further comparative figures to benchmark company values.
  
  
Gold Transaction Report
GoldVal.com is intending to compile a report which will deal with the valuation and comparison of these transactions – and which will take cognisance of various factors, including the gold price which prevailed at the time of the transactions.

This report is expected to take some time to complete. In the shorter term - expected by end July 2010 - a summarized list of the transactions will be posted on this site.
